ABOUT US
A Church for
Salt Lake City and Beyond
Centered on Christ. Grounded in the Word. Sharing the Gospel.
Who We Are
A Church Centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ
Good News Salt Lake Church is a Christian church in Salt Lake City where people from all backgrounds can hear the Gospel, study the Bible, and discover the grace of God through Jesus Christ.
We believe that salvation is not achieved by our works, but is received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross.
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth." — Romans 1:16
Our Story
A Small Beginning. An Unchanging Gospel.
Good News Salt Lake Church began in 2011 in a small home, with a simple desire to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the people of Salt Lake City.
Though our church was small, our vision was not. Over the years, we continued reaching our community through Christmas Cantatas, Bible Seminars, cultural camps, and many other community events—creating opportunities to meet people, serve our city, and most importantly, share the Gospel.
In November 2023, God opened a new chapter in our story as we were blessed with a church building of our own—a place where we could worship, gather, and continue reaching our community.
Some may see us as a small church. But the fire of the Gospel within us has never gone out.
From a small home in 2011 to where we are today, our heart remains the same: to faithfully proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and bring the hope of His grace to Salt Lake City and beyond.
Our building may have changed. Our congregation may grow.
But our mission remains the same—the Gospel.
Our Mission

Grow in the Word
We desire to help people know God personally through the Bible, grow in faith, and build their lives upon the Word of God.
03
Serve Our Community
Through worship, fellowship, Bible seminars, cultural events, and community outreach, we seek to serve our neighbors and create opportunities for people to encounter the Gospel.
What We Believe
Rooted in Scripture. Centered on Christ. Grounded in the Gospel.
BIBLE
The Bible is the holy and infallible Word of God for it is the Truth and there is no falsehood and error.
Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Mark Lee has served as the pastor of Good News Salt Lake Church since 2018. With a heart for the Gospel, he is dedicated to helping people discover the grace of God and establish their faith in the Word of God.
Since coming to Salt Lake City, Pastor Mark has served alongside the church in reaching the community through Bible seminars, Christmas Cantatas, cultural events, and various outreach programs—all with one purpose: to create opportunities for people to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
His desire is not simply to grow a church, but to see lives changed through the Gospel, people receive the assurance of salvation through Jesus Christ, and believers learn to live by faith in the Word of God.
Together with the church, he continues to carry a heart for Salt Lake City and beyond—sharing the Gospel, one person at a time.
